Embassy of Switzerland
As the official representation of Switzerland, the Embassy covers all matters concerning diplomatic relations with the United States. The Swiss Embassy is directly involved in the operations of the SBS through its representative on the Board of Directors and they inform the SBS of Swiss in the area who may benefit from our attention. The Embassy also supports the SBS by hosting events on its grounds and by donating items for fundraising events.

Swiss Club of Washington, DC
Founded in 1923, the Swiss Club organizes events and brings together people with Swiss heritage living around Washington, D.C. as well as any friends of Switzerland or people interested in the culture and history.

Swiss Folklore Group of Washington DC
Founded in 1954, the Swiss Folklore Group is looking for anyone interested in learning Swiss dances or learning Swiss songs.

Die Stauffacherin
Named in honor of Hedwig Stauffacher, the fearless wife of Werner Stauffacher, a steadfast free landholder from Schwyz, this society is here to promote friendship among its members, help one another, and maintain Swiss heritage and traditions. In addition, it supports cultural and social programs in the Washington DC area - especially those related to Switzerland. Members meet once a month for lunch in each other’s homes.

The Swiss Bakery and Pastry Shop
A full-service bakery located in Springfield, VA, specializing in artisan breads, French pastries, cakes, European-style desserts, and fresh ice creams. They also offer hard-to-find gourmet goods imported from Switzerland.
The Swiss Bakery supports the SBS by hosting events, by donating items and staff time for our fundraisers, and by making direct donations. The SBS is very grateful for our partnership with the Swiss Bakery.
